Adam Castle

(Born 1994) is an artist and filmmaker based in Edinburgh and London, UK. He employs deadpan absurdity and non-linear verbatim collaged scripts to explore our relationship to text and images in the digital capitalist realist age. He is recently screened in Vancouver, Valencia, Chicago, Beijing and Dundee as well as a US touring screening programmed across New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Columbus, Minneapolis, Denver and San Francisco. He is also the creative director of the Edinburgh Artists’ Moving Image Festival and is the producer and host of Pollyanna, a testbed cabaret night.
