Project Title: FIXING THE UNFIXABLE
Proposal Summary: My piece is called “Fixing the Unfixable” as a way to highlight the ever-changing aspects of our identity. I was inspired by the theory of gender by Judith Butler and the way that she mixes the concept of identity with different performative aspects. I wanted to reflect on the way that "the system" imposes a script that we MUST perform to shape us into who we are today.
