“Blue” (2012) by Maya Smira for the #MNMF2018

Blue is a time-based painting. The scene is set in a fluid composition, starting with clear water that is later invaded by blue colors. The blue takes over the frame, creating an abstract dynamic ongoing motion. The video is about the evolution of mediums, from painting to photography, showing transformation as well as demolition.

Blue is a part of a video trilogy, titled DYE, including Red, Blue and Yellow.
